During September we were delighted to welcome Jocelyn Lockart to our team as our new Volunteer Support Worker. It was a busy month with Jocelyn settling in and getting to know all our volunteers.

We were also very pleased to launch our Broomhouse and Sighthill Walking Map, promoting our six favourite local walks of around an hour to places of interest as tested by our Adult and Buggy walk participants. We also arranged for a copy to be posted to through every household our area. ( Our map featured in the local Edinburgh Evening News and Wester Hailes Digital Sentinel and ‘Paths for All’ newsletter as well as our Facebook page.)

During the October school holidays we hosted two fun and friendly ‘Cooking with Kids’ sessions.

Throughout Sept and Oct we have continued our popular Chair Exercise Group ( seated exercise for older adults) and Women’s Aerobic Exercise and Adult Cooking Sessions ( with crèche) and Adult Walking Group.
