Supporting Mental Health & Wellbeing
A life lived more mindfully is a life of greater health, happiness, contentment and connection. Mindfulness is most easily encouraged by practicing simple, calming, meditative exercises. These classes are an accessible and fun way to learn. These sessions may benefit people who experience low mood, insomnia, anxiety or chronic pain. Contact us for details of the next term of Mindfulness sessions. They are run at Sighthill Health Centre and Whinpark Medical Practice, in partnership with all the GP Practices.
Health Drop In’s:
Individual Health Drop Ins are a friendly and welcoming place for you to talk about your health needs with Jackie Hall our Community Development Worker. It may be for yourself or for someone you care for. You can get information about local and citywide health and wellbeing organisations. The service is available every weekday morning and is free and confidential. You don’t need to make an appointment.
