Wow, a month and a half – we started off with the Scottish Government coming along for a press announcement about the People & Communities Fund, a pot of money that we are currently funded by. They were announcing more money being allocated to the Fund, and they did it with Communities Minister Alex Neil, at one of our cooking sessions! Here’s a short film about it:

Then as well as all the adult cooking sessions and Cooking Up A Story sessions with Broomhouse Primary School, we also ran four Cooking With Kids sessions in the half term week. New skills, fun and creativity in huge quantities for parents and kids alike! Just look at some of the photos!

Finally we also added yet another element to our action packed exercise regime at the end of the month. As well as aerobics, chair exercises and our healthy walking group – we now have a buggy walking group that is meeting every Thursday morning at 9.30am at Whinpark Medical Centre. So if you’re a new mum and want to meet new people, and get some gentle exercise – why not get in touch!
